Selection Commission (SSC) invites Application Forms from Indian Nationals for
the Various Inspectors of Income Tax / Inspector (Central Excise) / Inspector
(Preventive Officer) / Inspector (Examiner), Assistants (CSS), Assistants, Inspectors,
Sub-Inspectors, Assistant Enforcement Officers, Divisional Accountants, Statistical
Investigators Gr.II, Auditors/ Junior Accountants / Accountants, Compilers,
UDCs (Upper Division Clerk), Tax Assistants, Compiler and Sub-Inspector posts in
various Ministries or Departments by selecting or screening the candidates for
the Main Examination :

Age : (1) 18 to 27 years for Inspector of Income Tax/ Inspector (Central
Excise)/ Inspector (Preventive Officer)/ Inspector (Examiner)/ Inspector of
Posts / Asst. Enforcement Officer and Divisional Accountants / Auditors /UDCs/
Tax Assistants (2) 20 to 27 years for Assistants and Sub-inspectors posts in
CBI. (3) 18 to 26 years for Statistical Investigators Gr.II. (4) Relaxation in
age for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex.SM etc. as per as Govt. rules.
Educational
Qualification : (1) Graduation in any discipline from any recognized University.
(2) Statistics/ Mathematics / Economics / Commerce subjects in Graduation for
the post of Statistical Investigator Gr.II (3) Bachelor's Degree with Economics
or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory of Elective subject. For the posts of Assistants (CSS), Computer
Proficiency has been given as an essential qualification.
Note
: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recruitment Exam will hold on 27/04/2014 and
04/05/2013 an open competitive examination for recruitment to the various posts
in various Ministries or Departments by selecting or screening the candidates
for the Main Examination.
Application
Fee : Interested Candidates need to Pay Application Fee Rs. 100/- for GEN/OBC
Candidates (No Application Fee for SC/ST/ Women/Physical Handicapped (PH) Candidates
and Ex. Service Man) by making a "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps
(CRFS)" These stamps are available at the counter of all Govt. Post
Offices of the country and Candidates who are applying online should pay in the
branches of SBI through payment challan which can be generated from online
application form.
How
to Apply : Interested Candidates Need to Either Apply Online from at SSC
website at http://www.ssconline.nic.in
(in this case Pay Application Fee at SBI Branch) or http://ssconline2.gov.in
(in this case Pay Application Fee at SBI Branch) and Apply Offline through given
format on or before 12/02/2014 for Part-I registration and up to 14/02/2013 for
Part-II Registration.
Note
: Last date for filling of the offline application is 14/02/2014 (5PM), last
date is 21/02/2014 for candidates from far-flung areas.
