Indian Railways recruits, its staff through Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) & Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs) at it all Zonal offices. RRBs & RRCs are mandated to recruit various technical class II /III & class IV & non-technical staff from their respective local jurisdiction areas. class 1st Officers are recruited in Indian Railways by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) through its annual Civil Service Examination only.
